A race to November

November is right around the corner and the time to vote for our country's next president is approaching rapidly.

Although presidential candidate Mitt Romney has found his vice-presidential running mate in Paul Ryan, I believe that the Obama-Biden super-duo will prevail in the end.

Although I am not fond of Romney, I tip my hat to him for choosing Paul Ryan. Ryan is someone that is capable of expressing emotions and someone with whom the American public can relate to.

He is the yin to Romney's yang. While Romney is dull and boring, Ryan is young and enthusiastic, bringing some much needed excitement to the old Romney campaign. Still, Ryan's charisma and enthusiasm will not be enough for Romney to beat President Obama this November.

First off, Romney is not as conservative as he seems to be, and I believe that many conservatives have not realized that yet. Although he now identifies himself as "pro-life," he favored abortion while he was running for Congress in Massachusetts. Romney opposes "Obamacare," but he created a health care system somewhat like it in Massachusetts informally known as "Romneycare." With "Romneycare," residents earning less than 150% of the federal poverty level received free health insurance. If elected, Romney has promised to banish "Obamacare" and make drastic changes to the American health care system, but does his statement ring true?

In my opinion, Romney is just a moderate in conservative clothing; that is why I applaud Romney for choosing Ryan, a conservative that is known for his Republican-pleasing budget plans. If it were not for Ryan's reputation, I believe that Romney would be exposed as the moderate he is.

Obama, on the other hand, is gaining more and more support every day. For example, Obama passed the DREAM Act, which allows students that are not American citizens to attend public schooling. This historic event has won him much praise and support from many frustrated families and students. The DREAM Act will allow all of America's brightest minds to flourish and make their country a better place.

During his term, Obama killed Osama bin Laden, one of the most wanted men by the FBI since 1998. Obama also bailed out General Motors from bankruptcy, a risky move that proved to be beneficial to America, saving thousands of jobs and creating even more as GM began to get back on its feet. Biden is a very diplomatic man, traveling to Iraq and various other middle-eastern countries during his term with Obama, thus creating many connections and strengthening relationships with those countries. Biden's camaraderie with a few Republicans in Congress was also vital to passing many of Obama's plans and ideas.

I am not fond of either. However the economy is not in the hands of the president. Yes he could have done more. If not for president Obama there would be multiple people on the streets. More young children would have to find jobs to support their education because the Welfare and Foodstamps would have been cut off. I have had to support my education, it is extremely difficult to go to school and worry about how exactly i am going to get all the neccesary items for the classes. I am not saying that he is the best president ever but I am saying that he has done things to benifit the people.

If it wasn't for Obama, the whole neighborhood i live in and my family included would be homeless,Obama extended the social security and the unemployment benefits like food stamps and help with rent/morgage. I believe Obama can do even better this time,I have read one too many PUBLIC articles and seen SOOO many videos of people disproving nearly everything Mitt has Promised, including the Auto Industries & other companies and public figures; None rooting for which side, but simply making the facts public. The government is mostly Hands Off when it comes to the economy, for years we've lived under the rule that "the economy will fix itself", so i have no idea why everyone's voting for Romney because the economy is bad,Obama is only allowed to do so much,he was just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, simple as that. Peace & Love,
... Save the Drama for your momma,
    vote for Obama (:

I agree about Romney choosing Ryan but i don't understand why Romney would want to banish "Obamacare" than have some of the same concepts in his healthcare reform. On the other side Obama has not done anything for us except magically assassinate three of the deadliest terrorists in the world... Oh and very slowly pull our troops out of Afghanistan... BUT THAT'S IT... In the long run i'm really not routing for anyone. :-?

This Presidential campaign has been one of THE nastiest I have seen. All they have done is talk crap about each other, and to me, it seems like neither of them have made a clear point as to why they should be elected. I am not fond of Romney either and I think that all he has done so far is trash talk his opponents. As for Obama, I'm not even sure if he should even be re-elected! I mean... look at what he has done!!! Destroyed our school budgets and caused major layoffs across the country. The only pro in Obama being re-elected would be his wife. Now that it's time for re-election Obama is grabbing on to strings to try and save his butt. He hasn't done much throughout his term and now I see that he is trying to make up for this which isn't cool. But, I guess when it comes down to it we must select the lesser of two evils. And although I don't like Romney, I'd rather see what he can do in office because I've seen what Obama can do and frankly I'm not impressed.
