Wednesday, Feb. 22 through Friday, Feb. 24 is FFA week. This year Granite Hills FFA will be holding a horseshoe tournament and a teacher lunch in.

Last year, FFA held a horseshoe tournament and a lot of students came out and participated.

This game requires two players, a student and a teacher.

"I like the fact that the partners have to be students and the teachers, that we the faculty gets involved and it's not just the students," said Isabel Ruiz.

Teacher Rich Lambie and William Miller were last year’s horseshoe tournament champions and are going to come back again and take on new challengers.

“I’m excited to play again,” said Miller. “I hope to win again and get a trophy.”

FFA students will be holding a teacher lunch in on Wednesday, Feb. 22 in room 205/206.

“The teacher lunch is my favorite! It’s nice to give back to the teachers for all that they do for us,” said Madison Rice.

Students are welcome to come out and participate during FFA week.

It was such a nice week. I enjoyed seeing both teachers and students playing horseshoes at lunch. We should do that more often. Thank you again to our FFA for putting on a great luncheon for our staff as well.
